The content I've added is a good source for someone learning about this topic because it clearly shows how even without a sufficient amount of data, you can estimate what the graph will look like based on the situation.
Something interesting I learned was that when graphing speed vs. time, if you have it linear than the speed is increasing at a constant rate. I used to always draw it as a curve up.
