8.EE.1: Know and apply the properties of integer exponents to generate equivalent numerical expressions. For example, 32 × 3-5 = 3-3 = 1/33 = 1/27.

The content I’ve added is a good resource for someone learning about this topic because it clearly shows the different laws of exponents through variables. If you were to use a numerical value for any of these variables you would be able to figure it out.
Something new or interesting I learned about this topic was that when you get the power of a product you put the exponents next to both letters, not just one.
