8.EE.8 - Analyze and solve pairs of simultaneous (systems of) linear equations.

 

This content I've added is a good resource for someone learning about this topic because it teaches them where the information comes from in solving a system of equations when associated with a word problem. It teaches a student how to eliminate a certain variable to find out what the other one is equal to, and then it shows how by plugging the variable you solved for back in you can find the other variable. You also ;earn how to check the answer, in any equation.

 

Something interesting or new I learned about this topic was that when you check your answer for a system you should do it in both and plug both variables in at once.
